K/P Corporation to Deploy PersonalEffect from XMPie

Press release from the issuing company

New York, NY, May 3, 2003—XMPie, a leading provider of software applications and platforms for dynamic (one-to-one) publishing, today announced that K/P Corporation, a supplier of fulfillment, mailing, printing and consulting services, plans to deploy XMPie’s PersonalEffect as a company-wide software platform for one-to-one marketing. K/P decision to implement XMPie and PersonalEffect came after an arduous review of eight competing products, by which XMPie was selected. K/P plans to rely significantly on PersonalEffect’s capability to create cross-media marketing campaigns across digital print, e-mail, the Web, and wireless mediums. “While we thoroughly evaluated a number of products, XMPie’s ability to execute across multiple communication platforms and cross-site workflow capabilities clearly positioned the product ahead of the others,” said Steve Thornton, Director of IT at K/P Corporation. “In addition, PersonalEffect’s modularity, scalability, and designer ease-of-use weighed heavily in our decision.”              K/P Corporation provides marketing solutions in the form of fulfillment, mailing, printing, and consulting services. Originally established as a family-owned printing company in 1929, K/P is now one of the leading fulfillment program management companies of its kind in the United States. K/P plans to deploy PersonalEffect across all twelve of their locations nationwide that will allow individual plants to work on independent projects, or work together for larger, cross-media campaigns. In addition, K/P will rely on PersonalEffect’s ability to drive a variety of both black and white and color digital printing output devices. "K/P is an innovative, versatile, and highly regarded provider of marketing, print, and fulfillment services. We are humbled by their choice to use our PersonalEffect platform across a broad range of applications and several different operational sites", said Jacob Aizikowitz, President and CEO of XMPie. “Leveraging PersonalEffect’s efficient cross-media capabilities, K/P can now offer its clients sophisticated campaigns where highly customized outbound mail is augmented with Internet-based response and fulfillment mechanisms.”
