locr to Showcase Location-based Marketing Services at Technology for Marketers Conference in London

Press release from the issuing company

Braunschweig, Germany – locr GmbH, the leading provider of location-based marketing services, today announced they will be exhibiting at the Technology For Marketing and Advertising (TFM&A) Conference, taking place 25-26 February at the Olympia National in London.  From stand V19 locr will highlight how marketers can use location-based services like geographic segmentation and personalised maps to create more successful marketing campaigns.

The TFM&A conference brings marketers from around the region together for an in-depth look at how technology is powering marketing, enabling increased customer engagement, and providing measurable returns. At the conference, locr will be exhibiting in the PODi Launch Pad Pavilion, a special section where PODi members in Europe can showcase their marketing solutions.

locr enables marketers use location to advance their marketing goals. With locr’s geo-services, marketers can finely-tune their list selection based on location. Marketers can use these services to further segment their mailing lists based on location or distance from a business or event. In addition to the geo-services, locr also provides personalised maps that are easily integrated into any multi-channel media marketing campaign. Used separately or together, these services can generate better response rates and create higher engagement for marketing campaigns.

Using a customer’s mailing list, locr generates these geo-information services and maps using a highly scalable server solution, and supplies them to customers in high-quality formats. Maps can be supplied on a project-by-project basis, or may be directly retrieved from applications using an API. All data is managed in accordance with the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz), one of the most strict data security regulations in the world. This gives customers the confidence of knowing that their data is managed with the utmost protection.

“Anyone working in marketing today knows that technology has become a critical piece of what makes campaigns successful. That’s why we are so pleased that locr will be participating in the PODi Launch Pad Pavilion. Simply put, their technology helps marketers market better. Whether it’s refining mailing lists with geo-information or increasing engagement with a personalised map, locr has the geo-based solutions marketers need to succeed,” says Tony Hodgson, who is PODi’s European representative.
