Global company shows appreciation for quality of service and management of branded promotional products program

DAYTON, Ohio - Standard Register today announced that it was presented with the Bosch North America Supplier Award for branded promotional products at an event in Mexico City last month.

"The Bosch Supplier Award goes to outstanding suppliers who play a key role in the Bosch Group's success and further growth of Bosch in North America," said René Schlegel, president of Robert Bosch Mexico, at the presentation ceremony at Mexico City's Club de Banqueros. During this event, 16 suppliers were chosen for awards from more than 15,000 used across North America. These included 10 direct material suppliers and 6 indirect material suppliers who were recognized for performing well in terms of quality, pricing, reliability, technology and continuous improvement during the past two years.

Standard Register received this award for supplying promotional products and services to the company's North American business units. Standard Register also supplies commercial and digital print solutions to Bosch.

"The proper management of a multi-site promotional marketing program across a FORTUNE 500 company is a complicated task," said Robert Assini, Standard Register's senior vice president of Sales, who accepted the award. "Over the past five years, we have worked diligently to ensure that high value promotional products are purchased, manufactured and distributed efficiently to Bosch's employees. We are proud to be viewed as a valued supplier to their company."

Standard Register is currently ranked among the top 10 promotional marketing distributors by Promo Marketing magazine.
