Visual Marking Systems Appoints James Weaver as Vice President of Sales & Global Markets

Creative business development manager becomes Visual Marking Systems new sales leader within the Graphic Imaging Industry

Cleveland, OH - Visual Marking Systems (VMS), Inc. has announced the appointment of James Weaver to Vice President of Sales and Global Markets effective immediately. Weaver is a highly collaborative individual who embraces a customer-focused attitude with six-sigma green-belt training, and over 16 years of experience in various sales and marketing leadership roles at 3M Company (3M Electrical Markets Division). Weaver’s been employed with VMS since October 2013, as the Eastern Business Development Manager.

Mr. Weaver is a graduate of the College of Wooster, receiving his B.A.
in Business Economics with a minor in Spanish and Cultural Studies in
1994. While at the College of Wooster, he earned NCAA Division III
Athletic All-American Honors, multiple NCAC All-Conference Awards, and elected team Captain by his peers in both tennis and football. He
received his M.B.A. with a specialty in Marketing Management from
Tampa College in 1998.

Before joining VMS, Weaver held positions as VP & interim COO at
M.O.H. Holdings, LLC., specializing in venture capital startups in
real estate acquisition. While at the 3M Company, Weaver lead sales &
marketing teams and sold electrical components and cable accessories
throughout the United States within the electrical construction,
commercial, industrial/MRO markets.

With a diverse industry background, Weaver is poised to grow revenue and sales to increase the value delivered to VMS’ core markets and Fortune 500 customers. His proven win-win relationships provide objective results by delivering increased value and reduced costs to VMS’ core markets and customers. Weaver will carry out multiple job assignments between sales, marketing, business development, and operations to increase Visual Marking Systems overall success.
