Com-Pak Services Completes 50,000-Square-Foot Expansion, Opens New Commingling Facility

Press release from the issuing company

MOORESTOWN, N.J. - Com-Pak Services, a leader in direct mail production and postal optimization, today announced the opening of its new commingling mail facility, a 50,000-square-foot expansion of its Moorestown location. The expanded facility will allow Com-Pak to increase its commingling capacity to over 600 million pieces annually.

“We're excited about the opening of our expanded facility and the opportunities this brings to our clients and our company”

With the increased capacity, Com-Pak is commingling both standard and non-profit mail, meeting increased client demands from a variety of industries, including financial, insurance, healthcare, publishing, mortgage, retail, non-profit, telecomm, cable and agencies.

"We're excited about the opening of our expanded facility and the opportunities this brings to our clients and our company,” explained Clif McDougall, CEO of EU LLC, Com-Pak Services and EU Services. "Especially as postal rates continue to rise, our commingled mail clients are enjoying lower postal and distribution costs, as well as improved speed to market."

Each of the firm's commingling mail clients are given a personal United States Postal Service (USPS) postal statement and the ability to use a CAPS USPS account, a process unique to the growing direct mail firm.

"Using our physical tray system, every piece of mail can be tracked down to its position in each tray. This gives our clients maximum control and ensures accountability," continued McDougall. "The ability to bring mail of varying sizes, classes and weights into a single pool gives our clients the lowest possible cost. And, sorting mail to the five digit SCF level allows for the lowest possible rate."

Throughout 2014, Com-Pak experienced significant, consistent increases in client demand for commingled mail. In January, the company announced a commingled mail increase of more than 20-percent year-to-date. In August, Com-Pak doubled its commingling capacity with the purchase of two NPI® sorters, adding to its existing high-speed sorters.
