Xerox To Host Innovation Internationale Event At Drupa

ROCHESTER, N.Y., April 28, 2004 - Xerox Corporation will recognize world-class examples of digital printing at a special "Innovation Internationale" event headlined by musical sensation "Bond" on May 6 at the drupa trade fair in Düsseldorf, Germany. Bond is a quartet of classically trained musicians who have earned wide acclaim by changing the face of classical music with pop-style performances. Most tickets for the multicultural event are reserved for Xerox Premier Partners, industry press and customers participating in the European Printing Innovation with Xerox Imaging (PIXI) Awards program. A limited number of complimentary tickets also will be made available on a first-come basis to general drupa attendees who register at www.xerox.com/news beginning today. Confirmations will be sent through April 30. The Innovation Internationale event takes place Thursday, May 6, at Kraftzentrale (Power Central), a refurbished foundry just outside Düsseldorf, from 18:30-21:30 (6:30-9:30 p.m.). Transportation will be provided from the drupa exhibition, and following the event, buses will take attendees back to the trade fair grounds and Düsseldorf's central rail station. The evening begins with a buffet and reception, followed by award presentations and a live concert by Bond. The band blends traditional and new music styles in a high-energy format and has enjoyed international success, including platinum-level recordings and the fastest selling debut album for a string quartet. As the print industry ramps up for drupa 2004, Xerox is taking a leadership role as a top exhibitor at the quadrennial international printing tradeshow. From May 6-19, Xerox will exhibit the industry's broadest range of technology, solutions and services for digital printing. Some fast facts about Xerox's exhibit at drupa 2004: * The Xerox exhibit is located in Hall 13 on a 37,670 square-foot stand. Hall 13 is located on the main fairground at Messe Düsseldorf. * The Xerox stand will feature some 20 production printers and presses -- including the DocuColor iGen3 Digital Production Press and DocuTech 100/120 copier/printers -- and a plethora of new systems, software, workflow tools, and partner solutions. * The stand will be focused on industry sectors including creative services, commercial printing, book printing, service bureaus, quick printing and supplies. * Xerox will go beyond demonstrating the latest technologies by showing customers how a streamlined and efficient workflow is key to business productivity, how the right equipment is essential to achieving healthy profits, and how important it is to have a vendor partner to support their business.
