APT Hires Former Quebecor Executive as SVP of Corporate Sales

Moonachie, NJ, April 29, 2004— Applied Printing Technologies (APT) announced today that John Egan has joined the company as senior vice president for corporate sales. Egan will be responsible for the company’s corporate sales initiative including increasing penetration of APT services to existing customers and attracting new accounts. He brings to APT over 20 years of experience in selling commercial printing services for industry leaders in the graphic arts and has a successful track record of establishing and maintaining senior level relationships with major customers in the direct mail, book, magazine, catalog and pre-media markets. Egan comes to APT from Quebecor World where he most recently held the title senior vice president of corporate sales. In that position he generated over $30 million in new sales and designed and implemented a strategic cross selling initiative across nine business units. Prior to joining Quebecor World, Egan held various senior level sales positions for World Color Press where he was responsible for a national sales force that generated $350 million in annual sales. He was a member of the management team that took World Color Press public in 1995. “Jack’s knowledge of the industry will make him an invaluable strategic partner to our customers,” said Carl Grossman, president and CEO of APT. “His expertise will enable him to offer printing solutions that will have a positive impact on their businesses and bottom lines. We are excited to have him as part of our team.” Egan attended Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania where he received his Bachelor's of Arts degree in economics.
