Post-SGIA Expo road paves the way for INX

Press release from the issuing company

San Leandro, CA – Gold sponsor INX International Ink Co. has enjoyed an exceptional run of success in recent years at the SGIA Expo, and last month’s show at the Las Vegas Convention Center was no exception. Since the show ended on October 24, company officials are busy with the many leads obtained over the three days and the positive influences that will carryover into 2015.

“The SGIA Expo was a sensational event with another great turnout. We had representation from numerous market segments as well as printers and dealers from around the world. Our booth was filled all three days with interest covering the gamut, from typical digital sign and graphics to industrial inkjet applications,” commented Susie Mendelssohn, North American Sales Manager and International Marketing Manager for INX Digital.

INX featured a Roland® printer technology preview of its TRIANGLE® RXV eco solvent wide format inks, turned the spotlight on the TRIANGLE ESC and MED inks for the second straight year, and demonstrated its digital capability to produce specialized packaging with the CP100 digital cylindrical printer powered by JetINX™. That parlay was a huge hit.

“The RXV ink preview attracted solid interest and we continue to satisfy the constant requests for more information about it as a result of the show,” informed Mendelssohn. “Seeing a positive reaction at the show to a new product is one thing, but backing it with new business immediately following the show throughout the North American market is a true indication of the future success this product will attain.”

High performance is one solid feature of RXV inks. They work with Roland large format printers such as the Roland Soljet™ Pro 4 series - which includes the XR-640™ and XF-640™ - and the VersaEXPRESS™ and VersaCAMM™ VSi series. Color and chemically compatible with the Eco-Sol MAX® 2 OEM inks, RXV offers a neutral balanced grey-scale that is equal to OEM ECO ink with fast dry times and low odor.

Mendelssohn noted a large number of the SGIA crowd continues to be impressed with the ESC inkjet inks. The alternative eco solvent ESC works in conjunction with the Epson Stylus® GS6000 commercial outdoor printer and the Epson SureColor® series printers to produce outdoor banners, posters and tradeshow graphics. The commercial launch of ESC with a bulk ink system specific to the Epson SureColor® series is being planned for the first half of 2015.

The cost effective MED inks on display work with the Mimaki® 3042 UV LED flatbed desktop printer and made a big impression. Mendelssohn said that since they are more flexible than Mimaki LH100 series inks, have significant improvement on adhesion to multiple substrates versus the OEM, and are available in six colors plus white, those benefits caught the eye of many.

“We had people tell us they would like having the ability to print on such a wide variety of materials directly without needing a receptive first coating. MED does this and prints on many different plastics and metals without the struggles that the OEM inks experience with poor adhesion issues,” said Mendelssohn.

Mendelssohn said the game-changing CP100 digital cylindrical printer was a hit with those looking to create specialized packaging since it provides an opportunity to customize equipment for their operations. Powered by JetINX to produce high-speed single or multi-pass through-cured 4-color output, the CP100 boasts an advanced UV LED curing system for best-in-class image quality to deliver outstanding short-run production. With up to 720 x 1000 dpi resolution and using environmentally friendly inks, it can produce proofs and prototypes in a matter of seconds.
