Coloredge Strengthens National Presence with Caldera RIPs

Press release from the issuing company

New York, NY – Coloredge, the nation’s largest provider of high-end visual imaging solutions for luxury brands and retailers, has announced that they have installed Caldera RIP and workflow software on all of its imaging devices across the country. Caldera, based in France, develops high quality production software for wide format imaging, business workflow and digital signage. Their systems provide increased productivity, cost efficiency and color output management.

Jeb Ball, CEO of Coloredge stated, “Having the Caldera software RIP’s on all of our equipment in all locations gives our clients many value-added benefits. One example is when a client has a major national rollout of graphics needed in a short time frame; we can drive production on our east and west coast equipment simultaneously using a single client file. The seamless integration provided by Caldera’s RIP’s assures maximum quality control and color consistency across multiple locations”.

Sebastian Hanssens, Caldera’s Vice President of Marketing added, “We are extremely pleased that Coloredge, North America’s industry leader in visual communications and brand imaging, has once again chosen Caldera. Their newly added software packages include Caldera’s GrandRIP+ along with the GrandCut, Compose, Tiling, NestOba, and CostProof options. Their customers will benefit from improved overall workflow production and color consistency across all facilities”.

The first Caldera RIP’s and workflow software was installed in Coloredge’s Carlstadt, New Jersey facility in 2012. That same year, the east coast was devastated by Hurricane Sandy and many printers were adversely affected with flooding and power outages. Coloredge quickly found the unexpected benefit of Caldera’s ‘plug and play’ RIP’s and was able to continue to serve the needs of their clients by seamlessly moving production around to other locations.
