Thursday, November 13, 2014

Press release from the issuing company

CHICAGO - Print Services & Distribution Association (PSDA) announced Barbara O'Connor has been named Executive Vice President. O'Connor will report to the PSDA Board of Directors and manage all business operations for PSDA.
O'Connor has served as PSDA's Director of Operations since 2010. In that time, she has contributed substantively to the growth and success of many PSDA programs and events, including the annual CEO Summit and the Young Innovators Conference, which debuted earlier in 2014.
"Barbara has built solid relationships within the PSDA community, and has exhibited great passion for the industry and our members," said PSDA President Rob Whitman. "Barbara's high level of commitment, combined with her innovative thinking, creativity and expertise in association management, will certainly help the association continue to grow and prosper."

O'Connor has more than a decade of association management experience, including a role as Executive Director of Forum 400, an elite group of life insurance producers. O'Connor has worked with a diverse array of organizations in multiple industries. Prior to her role with PSDA, O'Connor served as operations manager for the Legal Marketing Association and the Decorative Plumbing and Hardware Association. She also served as Executive Director for a separate legal association, and was instrumental in the merger of three HP user groups into the group now known as Connect.

"I am excited and honored to serve as PSDA's EVP," said O'Connor. "It has been a pleasure to work with the board and volunteers for the past four years, and I look forward to continuing to help our members grow and prosper in this evolving industry."
