GMC Software Technology Wins Celent XCelent Award for GMC Inspire’s Advanced Technology

Press release from the issuing company

GMC Inspire received high scores from insurance reference customers for ease of integration

GMC Software Technology (GMC), the award-winning leader in Customer Communications Management (CCM) and output management, announced it has been named the XCelent Advanced Technology winner in Celent’s recently published “Document Automation for Insurers 2014 ABCD Vendor View.”

The Celent ABCD Vendor View is Celent’s framework for evaluating vendors, whereby insurers are asked to consider their specific needs and each vendor for what it offers.  The report is designed to show at a glance the relative positions of each vendor in four categories: Advanced Technology, Breadth of Functionality, Customer Base, and Depth of Client Services. Insurers were asked to consider which factors in technology, breadth, experience and client service were most important to them and assess vendor suitability. Only 12 vendor systems fully met the inclusion criteria.

The GMC Inspire platform was one of the few vendor solutions profiled in the Celent report with a global footprint for insurance solutions, receiving high scores in terms of ease of integration from its insurance reference customers. The solution offers robust functionality and configurability making the system easy to integrate with an insurer’s internal applications as well as external data sources. Additional feedback included its ease of use, quick workflow, fast implementation processes and strong post-implementation services.

Commenting on the Celent XCelent Award, Henri Dura, CEO of GMC, said, “We are very pleased with the XCelent Award recognition.  It certainly reflects our commitment to the insurance industry and gives us valuable insight into the specific needs that are important to insurers in a technology solution. It is our commitment to continue developing solutions that respond to insurer needs and we expect GMC Inspire to continue to support those needs now and in the future.”

GMC’s target markets in insurance include property and casualty, life, healthcare and workers’ compensation. In addition to insurance, GMC serves other verticals including retail banking, wealth management, business process outsourcers, telecommunications and utilities.
