Kay Printing appoints Robert F. Sternau as Director of New Business Development

Clifton, NJ – Kay Printing a division of KM Media Group, the high-quality commercial printer, with digital, sheet-fed and web presses, today announced that seasoned industry veteran, Rob Sternau, has joined their management as Director of New Business Development.

Most recently Mr. Sternau served as VP Sales and Marketing for Vanguard Printing in Ithaca, NY. Previously, he served as VP/Director of Sales and Marketing for Allied Printing in Manchester, CT. Sternau has successfully managed sales and marketing departments for major, metropolitan New York City area printers over the past 25 years.  

In his new position at Kay Printing, Mr. Sternau will be responsible for helping grow overall sales by developing sales and marketing initiatives, recruiting additional sales reps, and direct selling. 

Jeff Kirschenbaum, President of Kay Printing stated, “Rob’s significant experience leading sales teams in the graphic communications industry will be of great value to us here at Kay. His skills in marketing strategy and executing project plans with emphasis in partnership development, team building and training, will help Kay to the next level” he continued. “We have aggressive growth plans over the next few years when we will branch out in to new areas for us and into new segments of the graphic arts.  Rob’s talent and leadership skills are a welcome addition to our family at Kay as we prepare for our future.”

Mr. Sternau is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and lives in Cold Spring, New York with his wife and son.
