CIP4 Experiences Marked Growth In Membership

Zurich, Switzerland, April 28, 2004: The International Cooperation for the Integration of Processes in Prepress, Press, and Postpress (CIP4) Organization announces a marked increase in membership during the first four months of 2004 with 32 companies joining CIP4 as partner, full, or associate members since the beginning of the year. "And, several of our newest members also joined in our latest interoperability testing held in Zollfinger, Switzerland." By joining CIP4, companies interested in JDF driving automation as part of the future of the print and publishing industry are able to participate in the continued development of JDF technical and workflow related documents through CIP4's working groups and interoperability testing. The upcoming JDF Parc at drupa 2004, is the result of a partnership between CIP4 and Messe D¸sseldorf that will in effect make drupa 2004 "the JDF drupa" - a global event heralding the advent of JDF and process automation in the graphic arts industry. Located in Hall 4 (Booth A33), JDF Parc will offer drupa 2004 attendees the most up-to-date information on the JDF standard through presentations, product literature, and JDF workflow demonstrations. Drupa 2004 is scheduled for May 6-19, 2004 at the 17 building Messe D¸sseldorf facilities in Dusseldorf, Germany. Drupa is the forum for the world of print, media and paper; this print media fair covers all phases of pre-press, pre-media and printing as well as paper converting, print processing and much more.
