Scott Fresener releases T-Seps 3.5 Separation Suite for Photoshop CC 2014

Press release from the issuing company

Scott Fresener of T-Biz Network has announced the release of a major upgrade to his popular T-Seps software. T-Seps 3.5 Separation Suite is an automated color separation plug-in that is designed to work specifically in Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 on Mac and Windows computers. It allows screen printers to do high-end color separations with very little Photoshop experience. T-Seps originally started out as Fresener's program called FastFilms.

According to Fresener "With the evolution and changes Adobe Photoshop is making we have to constantly be upgrading our program to meet their demands. The new Photoshop CC 2014 required a different architecture than earlier versions which is why T-Seps 3.5 only works in Photoshop CC 2014. But, users of earlier verions of my software including FastFilms and T-Seps 3.0 can easily upgrade to T-Seps 3.5."

T-Seps 3.5 offers a variety of color separation methods including Simulate Process Color, Index Color, CMYK, Spot Color, Discharge/Waterbased Ink separations, Monochrome Black and White separations and Old Photo/Vintage separations. It also has a lot of special graphic effects built in including edge effects, the distressed look, and image improvement routines for low quality artwork.

T-Seps 3.5 is an Adobe Photoshop plug-in that works the Extensions Panel and it has a very easy-to-use graphic interface.

Fresener says "My original program FastFilms set the standard for automated programs and now T-Seps 3.5 takes separating to a new level. Starting with T-Seps 3.0 I added new routines for images with faces and flesh tones, images with flames and orange, and a routine for boat/ocean images with lots of blues and water colors. And, I have greatly improved the Discharge separation routine."

He also adds "Most separations take less than 30 seconds to run and then with just a few minutes of final tweaking the printer has a great set of seps. T-Seps recommends the mesh count, the print order and even gives the final ink color callout. New printers find that it takes them to a new level."

T-Seps 3.5 comes with a detailed 85 page PDF manual along with test files and Fresener offers a 20-day free trial download so a printer can try it before they buy it and it includes a built-in RIP that converts the file to halftone dots, adds registration marks, and even lets you preview the final seps as halftone dots and in color so you can see exactly what the separations will print like before you ever got to press.
