Trekk Offers Augmented Reality Advice at CMIC Summit

Rockford, IL - Sarah Mannone, Vice President of Client Services at multi-channel marketing agency, Trekk, Inc., will speak on augmented reality (AR) at the Cross-Media Innovation Center Summit, held October 15-16 in Rochester, New York.

Sponsored by the Rochester Institute of Technology, the summit brings together cross-media industry experts to discuss pressing issues and relevant topics facing the graphic communications industry.

In her presentation, "Augmented Reality: Another Channel in the Mix," Mannone will share best practices for incorporating new technologies like augmented reality into a multi-channel strategy. She will also show attendees examples of how marketers are using AR in a wide range of applications.

"Mobile has become an increasingly important communications channel as smartphones and other mobile devices have permeated our culture," said Mannone. "AR bridges the gap between print, digital and mobile communications, increasing print's shelf life and creating a communications channel for continuing the dialogue throughout the customer life cycle."
