Specialty Print Communications Adds 100 Jobs and Expands with New Lettershop Facility

Press release from the issuing company

NILES, IL – Specialty Print Communications (SPC), a national, single-source solution provider of direct mail, announces a significant expansion of its lettershop services in Niles, Illinois.  The new facility will more than double its current size and employ 300 workers.

Demand has provided the impetus for growth since five years ago SPC made a strategic decision to bring lettershop capabilities in-house to provide customers with a more streamlined service. “Today’s expansion is a direct response to our customers’ growing needs, and testament to our commitment to continuous improvement,” said Adam LeFebvre, President of SPC. “We continue to be a valuable resource and reliable partner to national clients and direct marketing specialists.”

The new 150,000 square foot plant, at 7420 N. Lehigh Avenue, is just around the corner from SPC’s current headquarters and main print facility on Howard Street, which they will retain, along with their second print facility in Benton Harbor, Michigan.

“Our move increases our print and direct mail capacity, improves our production flow, adds crucial local jobs,” said Bill Mattran, Senior Vice President of New Business Development.  “We are very excited about the efficiencies the new space will provide.”

SPC has just completed its move into the new lettershop facility that features an array of new equipment, manufacturing redundancies, IT infrastructure updates, expanded rack storage, and increased staffing.
