Agfa Serves up New, Fast, More Environmentally Friendly Flexo Plate System

April 26, 2004 -- Agfa Corporation today announced the launch of a new photopolymer plate for the flexo market in North America. Aqua FLASH is the fastest flexo plate available in the market today, capable of making a finished plate in less than 45 minutes. The Aqua FLASH system allows for parallel platemaking capabilities producing a set of four fully processed plates in less than 70 minutes. Additionally, the plate is more environmentally friendly, as it uses a water-wash system instead of harsh chemicals to process the plate.
