Miami, FL - The Southern Florida Minority Supplier Development Council (SFMSDC) hosted its Annual Awards Gala this past Friday, September 26, 2014.  The annual gala is held to recognize the achievements of South Florida's top minority business enterprises.  Companies are nominated by corporate clients and judged based on strong customer relations, consistently providing quality products & services, a reputation beyond reproach, and possessing a passion to “give back” to minority businesses and the community.   

Supplier of the Year is the most prestigious honor.  The award is given in four categories determined by annual sales.  In Category III - annual sales between $10 million and $50 million - Solo Printing, Inc was selected as the Supplier of the Year.  Robert Hernandez, Solo’s Vice President of Sales, accepted the award on behalf of the company.   “We are honored to be recognized with this award.  I want to thank the 160 employees of Solo who meet the needs of our customers everyday with a passion for quality and a commitment to excellence.  I also want to thank CVS Health for its nomination of Solo.” 

By winning the award Solo is eligible for the National Award from the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), which will be presented at the national conference this November in Orlando, FL.
