KBA Report no. 45 out now: Things are moving on the print market

Press release from the issuing company

“Things are moving” – that is also how company president and CEO Claus Bolza-Schünemann has summed up the corporate realignment initiated by Koenig & Bauer AG (KBA) in response to the continuing transformation of the print market.

Writing in the latest issue of the customer magazine KBA Report, Bolza-Schünemann comments: “Shrinking markets, such as newspaper, commercial and publications printing, oppose growth markets, e.g. packaging, digital printing and coding, as well as special markets, such as banknote printing or metal decorating. We aim to secure our current strong position in these fields and expand on it further.”

KBA Report no. 45, too, is full of examples of how printers around the world are mastering the structural changes and the challenges which arise from the digitisation and automation of information and processes. Not only technical experts and users, but also major print customers, such as Procter & Gamble, and representatives of the agency sector step forward to share their ideas. KBA Report is once more a compendium of print in all its variations, and offers proof that – even in the online age – foresighted print companies have no reason to fear the future. On the contrary: Viewed in its entirety, the print industry is still a highly significant branch of the economy.

KBA Report is available in German, English, French, Spanish and Italian. Copies can be requested from the KBA regional offices or from the central marketing department of Koenig & Bauer AG.

An online version of the magazine is also available for download from the KBA-Website.
