Hudson, NH USA – Presstek announced that commercial printer Digital FX located in Mexico City, Mexico, purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Presstek 52DI digital offset press in the Presstek booth at Graph Expo 2014.  Digital FX purchased the Presstek 52DI to replace its two Heidelberg Quickmaster DI presses.  Having the highly automated 52DI will enable Digital FX to significantly improve makeready time and improve print quality with better solids, sharper half-tones and higher screens.  

Presstek sold the DI press in partnership with local dealer Enfoque Digital. Available new or Certified Pre-Owned with the same full warranty on both, today’s DI presses offer extreme automation and high resolution output. Presstek’s Certified Pre-Owned program enables printers to enter the profitable digital offset printing market at a lower price point, enabling a fast return on investment.  The Presstek 52DI is an oversized two-page landscape format highly automated four-color digital offset press. The Presstek 52DI features support for 300 lpi and FM screening, 10-minute job-to-job turnover (including on-press plate imaging), and a small environmental footprint. The press prints up to 10,000 full-size sheets per hour on any offset stock up to 0.020" (0.5mm) thick.
