Montreal, Canada - Ultimate TechnoGraphics will celebrate its 25 years of imposition software excellence at Graph Expo, Chicago McCormick Place, on September 29th 2014. To underline a quarter of a century of software development, Ultimate invites customers and partners to a Happy Hour event from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the Grand Ballroom Lobby S100.

Ultimate is pleased to announce the participation of David Zwang, industry analyst and consultant who travels around the globe helping companies increase their productivity and market reach. David Zwang will share his latest impressions of market trends.

A History of Innovation
It all started in 1987 when a group of printing professionals and software developers gathered to create the first electronic imposition solution, replacing knives and tape from strippers. In 1989, Ultimate TechnoGraphics was founded and Impostrip Windows was launched that same year followed by the Mac version a year later.

It wasn’t until 1990 that Ultimate TechnoGraphics went global by attending its first Drupa in Dusseldorf Germany, the world’s largest printing event under the theme DAS IMPOSTRIP. Ultimate developed a worldwide network of distributors and OEMs and has played a key role in the transition to electronic imposition on CtF and later on CtP.

At Drupa 2008, Ultimate Bindery v.1 was launched to unveil a new finishing concept and was demonstrated live at Duplo and Muller Martini’s booths during the show and has since won Print13 and GraphExpo 2014 MUST SEE 'EMS awards.

Graph Expo 2010 saw the debut of the world’s fastest imposition software with the release of Impostrip Scalable. This new solution can impose 100,000 pages in less than 10 minutes, an unprecedented speed. Impostrip Scalable is today the fastest PDF imposition solution available for high-speed presses for customers worldwide.
