Substrates Designed for Emerging Memjet-Class Printers

Cohoes, NY – To serve the demands for the rapidly growing inkjet printing market, Mohawk, North America’s largest privately-owned manufacturer of fine papers, envelopes and specialty substrates for commercial and digital printing, will launch a new line of inkjet substrates at Graph Expo 2014 (booth #3240).  Inventory is available and ready for order.

Known for high quality, high performance traditional offset and digital (cut sheet) fine papers and substrates, Mohawk now introduces a unique surface technology to synthetic materials specifically designed for emerging Memjet-class wide format inkjet printers.

The new Mohawk Inkjet media line consists of four substrates designed to support a wide variety of printing applications. New products include:

  • Mohawk Inkjet DuPont™ Tyvek® - Waterfast matte inkjet receptive coating
  • Mohawk Inkjet Polyester Pressure Sensitive Permanent Adhesive – Aqueous matte coated polyester
  • Mohawk Inkjet Matte Backlit Film – Aqueous matte coated polyester backlit display film
  • Mohawk Inkjet Textured Lightblock Film – Banner lightblock film

Mohawk Inkjet substrates deliver high performance, durable and vibrant print quality for use as banners/signage, POP displays, graphics, display panels, posters, in a wide variety of vertical markets including education, healthcare, travel/tourism, events/conferences/tradeshows, retail, hospitality/restaurants/spas/hotels, and more.
