Integration Technology (ITL) expands UV curing for digital inkjet sector

Press release from the issuing company

Leading supplier of UV curing systems to the global digital inkjet industry, Integration Technology Ltd (ITL) has extended the scope of its SubZero range with the introduction of 220mm and 280mm arc length variants in both shuttered and non-shuttered options.

The ITL SubZero UV programme comes in both arc and LED variants and is a proven solution for wide format inkjet printers combining a highly compact footprint with ultra-light weight and outstanding field serviceability.

Launched at (July 2014) Shanghai AD and Sign Show, standard features of the new SubZero 220 and SubZero 280 solutions include a replaceable quartz front plate and quick-change lamp cassette. Both have 100 W/cm variable power and utilise advanced halide bulb technology, integrated air-cooling and switch-mode electronic power supply.

Additional options include alternative bulb spectra ‘H','D', or ‘A' with enhanced optics delivering a 16% enhanced UV output.

The SubZero 220 and SubZero 280 can be supplied with ITL's proven SubZero integral high-speed electronic shutter, delivering a programmed electronic actuation ensuring a fast cycle time (80ms) with inertia-less braking enabling the shutter to be closed or opened during the print cycle without transmitting vibration to the print engine, and which further eliminates light reflection into the print heads.

Founded in 2000, ITL is the market leader in the production of arc and UV LED light engines. The UK-based company has offices in Europe, USA, Japan, China and South Korea.
