Color-Logic Enables Variable Data Printing on Foil Substrates

Press release from the issuing company

West Chester, Ohio Graphic designers find it nearly impossible to incorporate variable data in a foil area to be overprinted with CMYK inks, because a separate white ink mask must be created manually for each data variation. With Color-Logic software, however, white ink masks are created automatically as the file is processed.  The proprietary Color-Logic process permits designers to incorporate variable elements throughout a design-from simple personalized text to more complex variables such as sequential numbering and variable images.

Describing this unique feature of the Color-Logic software, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves said: "Graphic designers and advertising agencies typically shy away from using variable data when printing on foil substrates because creating white ink masks can be tedious and may require lots of time.  But a simple plugin in the $199 Color-Logic Design Suite does the job automatically.  A new brochure on the Color-Logic website or at http://ow.ly/Bxpxf describes the process in detail.  The Color-Logic Design Suite is available from certified Color-Logic licensed printers."

Developed for brand managers, product managers, corporations and advertising agencies, the Process Metallic Color System gives licensees the ability to differentiate themselves and their clients from the competition by simplifying the design and print production process and implementing eye-catching decorative effects into their branded products and associated collateral. The Color-Logic system is compatible with offset, inkjet, flexography, digital presses, screen printing, and gravure processes. It is ideal for packaging, pouches, direct mail, point-of-purchase material, signage, post cards, literature, booklets, labels, shrink sleeves, calendars and much more.
