Gietz Celebrates Two Historical Milestones

WEST HARTFORD, CT - Gietz AG, a leading supplier of foil stamping, embossing, and hologram transfer equipment, is hosting a special event at its headquarters in Gossau, Switzerland. On Thursday, September 25 and Friday, September 26, Gietz (www.gietz.com) will commemorate the delivery of its 50th Gietz FSA 1060 Foil Commander machine, along with recognition for its 50-year anniversary at its location in Gossau. 

The FSA 1060 Foil Commander is being acquired by Gräfe Druck & Veredelung, located in Bielefeld, Germany and a long-standing Gietz customer. The program on Thursday will begin with a welcoming toast and a short demonstration of the machine, followed by the official handover of the 50th FSA 1060 Foil Commander by Hansjörg Gietz, Managing Director Gietz AG to Frank Denninghoff, Owner and Managing Director of Gräfe Druck & Veredelung. 

A series of short presentations will take place before the celebratory dinner as Gietz welcomes Markus Hoffmann, Member of the Managing Board of Leonard Kurz Stiftung & Co. KG; Jerzy Czubak, Global Chief Operating Officer for Amcor Tobacco Packaging; and Heinz Artmann, Founder of ART-Line Projekt GmbH and a consultant in the international high security market. Hoffman will discuss new perspectives and challenges of the foil stamping industry; Czubak will provide a customer’s view of Gietz; and Artmann will provide a perspective on Gietz and high security printing. 

Friday, September 26 will include a tour of the beautiful Swiss countryside. Weather permitting, the group will tour the top of Säntis Mountain, ending with lunch on the Säntis peak restaurant with spectacular views of the surrounding area. An alternative event will include a stop at the Abbey Library of Saint Gall, a world heritage site and one of the oldest and historically most important libraries of the world.
