Oce Introduces Stronger Presentation Bond for Technical Drawings

Press release from the issuing company

CHICAGO, April 20 -- Oce, a global leader in digital document management and delivery solutions, has expanded its line of imaging supplies with a 35 lb. coated presentation bond ideally suited for CAD and GIS mapping applications. Compared to Oce 32 lb. coated presentation bond, Oce 35 lb. coated presentation bond (Product # BMHR35) offers customers a heavier basis weight at the same price point. Aside from being an excellent value, this imaging media also features easy handling characteristics, resistance to wrinkling and tearing, excellent feeding properties, fast dry time and high smear resistance. Designed for technical prints with color accents, Oce 35 lb. coated presentation bond offers a matte coating on a bright white base with a high opaqueness that prevents ink bleed-through. Its compatibility with both dye and pigment inks makes it highly versatile across a wide range of large format thermal and piezo inkjet printers from Oce, Encad, Hewlett Packard and others. It can also be used for presentations and short-term indoor displays and is receptive to both heat activated and pressure sensitive lamination. High Versatility in One Investment "Its versatility and multi-purpose utility make Oce 35 lb. coated presentation bond a smart choice for firms who need a presentation quality bond that can bridge a number of applications, while minimizing their need to purchase a variety of different paper types. With this media, customers get an affordable, more robust product for their investment," said Bruce Winfield, Vice President of Marketing for Oce Imaging Supplies. Oce 35 lb. coated presentation bond is economical enough to be used for both check and finished plots, eliminating the need to switch rolls in the plotter. It is available in 100' rolls in six different widths, ranging from 24" to 60".
