Creel Takes Home 11 Gold Ink Awards; Achieves a Personal Best

Press release from the issuing company

Creel Printing has once again been recognized for printing excellence, bringing home 11 Gold Ink Awards — its most ever. As one of the competition’s most awarded firms, Creel dominated the “Consumer Magazine” category, capturing seven honors, including the Gold.

Creel’s winning entries span high-end fashion and entertainment magazines, event programs, magazine covers, and softcover books. Each honor was achieved on behalf of longtime customers for whom Creel provides a host of services across printing, publishing solutions, and supply chain support. Creel also won a Gold in “Magazine Covers” with V87 Magazine’s printed plastic overlay cover, collaboratively produced with Deux-Points.

The Gold Ink Awards is considered the industry’s premier accolade. It is judged by recognized experts who painstakingly discriminate print quality, technical difficulty, and overall visual effectiveness. This year’s contest was highly competitive, drawing more than 1,000 contributions from across the globe. Creel and other winners will be recognized at the Gold Ink Awards & Hall of Fame Gala at Graph Expo in September.

“Receiving 11 wins is humbling. We are so proud of this high honor,” said Allan G. Creel, President of Creel Printing. “Our staff is one of the best in the business. Their innovative thinking, craftsmanship, diligence, and eye for detail strive to help our customers truly stand out. These awards help us know that we have achieved this.”
