Rolling Meadows, IL - Komori America Corporation, a premier manufacturer of sheetfed and web offset printing presses, today announced that Modern Press, a commercial printer, mailer and fulfillment company located in New Brighton, Minnesota, has recently added an H-UV curing system to its six-color Lithrone S40 (LS640). Key drivers in adding the advanced technology to the press included its ability to deliver outstanding print quality and a bindery ready sheet for fast job cycle time.

The H-UV system also operates in the “non-ozone” wavelength of the UV spectrum, making it an eco-friendly alternative and eliminating the need for venting. Using only one bulb in the delivery of the press to cure the sheet also significantly reduces cost over conventional UV.
