Lake Image awarded a Graph Expo Must See ‘Ems award

Press release from the issuing company

Lake Image Systems, leaders in data integrity, verification and print quality inspection systems, are proud to be the recipients of a Must See ‘Ems award from the Graph Expo 2014 Must See ‘Ems panel of industry experts.

Awarded within the Colour  Management and Quality Control category, Discovery Enterprise provides a single point of control for managing integrity and print quality across all your printing and finishing devices. Enterprise enables production flexibility, increasing asset utilisation, throughput and operational performance. This product is being launched to the US market, following the great success in Europe and Asia.

Attendees to Graph Expo MUST SEE Discovery Enterprise because it enables many of our US Customers to network connect all their Discovery MultiScan Clients, installed on their individual printers, inserters, collators etc. to an Enterprise Server. This enables them to both track and inspect jobs across all their devices, greatly increasing document integrity and quality.  With many documents (investment portfolio booklets, employee benefit statements etc) now comprising of multiple sheets, produced and finished on multiple devices, Enterprise now tracks each and every page, start to finish for 100% integrity. Enterprise also enables jobs to be processed in non-sequential order, simplifying operations. A full audit trail is created for each job, enabling clients to send MI reports back to their customers.

Discovery Enterprise’s “Child Data” feature has also been a big hit with customers, enabling them to validate, inspect and grade a vast array of barcodes, QRCodes, Postnet, IMB and other document features (holograms, foils etc.). If errors are detected, then these pieces can be diverted at the most convenient point during its production, normally at the inserter and then flag it for either reprint or manual inspection. Issues with poorly printed or incorrect codes on documents used by the postal service and payment systems alike are picked up before the document leaves the factory further reducing delays, costs and dissatisfaction for the end customer.
