Regal Press Broadens Business Capabilities with HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press

Press release from the issuing company

Based in Norwood, Mass., Regal Press has been in business for more than 40 years. The company works with some of the world’s largest brands, including well-known hotels, financial service providers and even the White House, to produce high quality print products. Regal Press specializes in corporate stationary products, like letterheads and business cards, but also produces items such as brochures, direct mail, security documents, cling vinyl, engraving and foil stamping. The company was an early adopter of web-to-print services and digital print and maintains an agile, adaptive business strategy to deliver fast, consistent work to clients.

The HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press will mark the fifth HP Indigo installation for Regal Press, which already operates two HP Indigo 7600 Digital Presses, an HP Indigo 5500 and an HP Indigo 3000 series press. Expanding its fleet of HP Indigo digital printing technology over time, Regal Press has transformed its business from a print provider to a brand partner and grown its clientele globally. The HP Indigo 10000 enables Regal Press to bring more work in-house, develop innovative new high-end applications and consistently meet strict brand guidelines.

“Our clients are craving new ways to market themselves,” said Mike Lane, executive vice president, Regal Press. “The HP Indigo 10000 will help us make their creative visions reality, and unlike with offset, we can make prototypes to test new applications and explore new marketing approaches together.”

Lane says that Regal Press has seen 25 percent growth over the last 5 years, and notes that digital print has been a driving force of that growth.

“Digital print has exceeded our expectations, and we’re evolving the business,” said Lane. “The HP Indigo 10000 will give us increased capacity for highly-personalized products and allow us to service big clients with big requests locally.”
