DALLAS, April 16 -- Kinko's, an operating company of FedEx Corp., today announced the results of its annual competition recognizing the best of its 1,100 U.S. locations. Selection criteria included superior financial performance, customer service and care for the environment. "Kinko's team members are dedicated to upholding core values like teamwork and customer service," said Gary Kusin, Kinko's president and chief executive officer. "Kinko's is proud to recognize and reward the best of the best through this annual competition. We congratulate the winners for their outstanding achievements and adding value to the company, serving our customers, and preserving the environment." The company's Annapolis, Md., branch was named the best standalone store for 2003. Top honors for branch group goes to the Overland Park, Olathe and Lenexa, Kan. branches. Their reward: a free trip complete with high-profile help to mind the stores. Nearly 100 team members -- and their guests -- from the four locations will embark on a company-paid weekend getaway to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla. this month. While they are away, customers will find Kinko's senior management, regional executives, and area team members serving in place of the regular team. The four branch managers have also been named to the company's prestigious President's Club. Kinko's President's Club is an elite group of top performers that includes a total of 15 standalone locations and 15 branch groups as well as sales and support positions. Members of the group recently returned from a recognition trip to Hawaii.
