PODi Announces AppForum 2015: February 9-11 at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas

Press release from the issuing company

Sales, Implementation and Production Best Practices

Rochester, NY - PODi, the Digital Printing Initiative, announced today that the 2015 AppForum digital printing conference will be held February 9th – 11th at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, NV.

“So much of our industry gets its information online from downloads and webinars that we took a hard look at the unique values of a physical conference to ensure ours provides them,” explains Caslon & PODi General Manager, Dave Erlandson. “The answers all center around interaction, engagement, depth, networking, and spontaneous conversations – so that is where we are focusing our efforts this year: on longer, more in-depth, workshop-oriented sessions and activities.”

This will ensure that AppForum remains the premier educational conference for the printing industry to experience best practices in selling, implementing and producing digital printing and marketing solutions. The agenda is being finalized, but expect highly engaging sessions on:

  • Sales: Both hands-on workshops on how to leverage storytelling to engage prospects and close opportunities as well as discussions with real-life PODi members who are using this technique on a daily basis.
  • Solutions: Learn about and see the technologies and implementations of the latest and upcoming technologies impacting our industry. Talk with service providers who are already using them and learn from their experiences.
  • Productivity: Participate in workshops where teams explore how to address workflow improvement challenges such as analyzing workflows, identifying bottlenecks and constraints, and estimating Return on Investment. Thought leaders including senior workflow strategists from vendors and service providers who have reengineered their workflows will be on hand to discuss their insights, experiences and directions.

The value of physical conferences extends beyond the classroom, however. “Some of the most insightful conversations happen during lunch, at the vendor fair, or while relaxing in the bar with other attendees,” says Mr. Erlandson. “That relaxed and fun atmosphere is why we keep coming back to Las Vegas, and why we’re so excited to be back at Planet Hollywood. Planet Hollywood is right on the strip, it’s fun, it’s lively, and it’s close to everything.”

AppForum attendees enjoy one full day of Pre-Conference Intensives, along with two days of vendor-neutral learning sessions, lively panel discussions, keynotes from industry thought leaders, a uniquely open atmosphere, and the most productive networking they’ll do all year. Visit www.appforum.org for more information about the conference and to register early to receive special early pricing discounts.

Sponsorship opportunities are now available. Attendees have the chance to meet representatives from sponsoring companies for quiet one-on-ones at their display tables and at several networking events. Vendors can take advantage of enhanced marketing coverage by participating at the Gold, Silver or Bronze sponsorship levels. Get more information at www.appforum.org/sponsors.
