NAPL Business Advisory Group’s Nationwide Executive Search Helps Graphic Communications Company Fill Key Management Position

East Rutherford, N.J. - Graphic Visual Solutions, Greensboro, N.C., has announced the appointment of Scott J. Rempe as Vice President of Sales. The National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL) Business Advisory Group was retained by the $25 million graphic communications company to help it fill the position and conducted a nationwide search to find an individual with superior management and leadership skills.

“We wanted to find an executive who could help us leverage and integrate our printing, packaging, communication and visual solutions capabilities for ongoing sales growth and new business development,” says Bryan Hall, Graphic Visual Solutions President. “We believe that Scott Rempe is the perfect person to help us shape our long-term sales strategy and build and manage a world-class sales organization. We are pleased to have Scott join our executive management team and know he will be instrumental in helping us advance our objectives in an increasingly challenging industry.”

A proven professional with established success in marketing, sales, and management, Rempe previously served as Vice President, Direct Mail Marketing Manager, for BB&T, Winston-Salem, N.C. In his 9 years with BB&T, he held a number of positions of increasing responsibility, including Assistant Vice President, Strategic Relationship Manager, and Assistant Vice President, Print Manager/Senior Purchasing Agent. Prior to BB&T, Rempe was with Coleman Resources in Greensboro, N.C., for 13 years and served as Director of Marketing and Customer Development. Rempe received a B.S. Degree in Graphic Communications from Clemson University and currently serves as a member of the Board of the Charlotte (N.C.) Direct Marketing Association (CDMA) and The Enrichment Center in Winston-Salem, N.C.

“NAPL provided invaluable assistance throughout our search, both through its extensive industry experience and its expert review and assessment of candidates,” notes Hall. “We knew the qualities and background we wanted in someone to fill this important position, and NAPL was able to handle the lion’s share of the outreach, screen, and evaluate all inquiries, and help us with the interview process so that we could identify and select the right person without being distracted from our normal management responsibilities. We know we made the right decision both in our hire and in calling on NAPL to help us fill this executive management position.”
