KODAK to Demonstrate Brand Protection Expertise at 2014 GAAmericas Printed Electronics, Functional Printing & Intelligent Packaging Symposium

Press release from the issuing company

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Kodak is participating in this year’s Gravure Association of the Americas’ (GAAmericas) 4th annual Printed Electronics, Functional Printing & Intelligent Packaging Symposium. During the interdisciplinary two-day event taking place June 23-24, 2014, Kodak will advise brand owners and global packaging professionals on how to dramatically improve their brand protection, product authentication and tracking systems.

Keith Cutri, Director of Business Development, Brand Protection Solutions, Eastman Kodak Company, will be presenting at the conference in a session titled “Brand Protection, Brand Security, Product Safety & Functional Printing” that will explore and outline the different maturity levels of a brand protection program. His session will aim to help attendees assess the strength of their existing brand protection programs, identify the potential risks and key problem areas and outline a strategy for immediate and future improvements.

“In today’s volatile market, the costs of counterfeiting can be staggering – in fact, billions of dollars are lost every year to the black market, gray market, product tampering, as well as patent and trademark infringement,” said Cutri. “I am eager to represent Kodak at this high level symposium to provide those in brand development, packaging and commercialization with a view into how their efforts measure up against the most sophisticated brand owners in business today.”

The GAAmericas Printed Electronics, Functional Printing & Intelligent Packaging Symposium brings a diverse group of trail-blazers and thought leaders together from key organizations in a highly interactive setting to share their considerable experience and practical perspectives on how to profit from today’s innovative technologies. Those attending can expect to learn how to utilize technology today to create value and competitive advantage.
