Progressive Solutions Expands Printing Capabilities with HP Indigo 3050 Press

Press release from the issuing company

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--April 12, 2004-- Progressive Solutions announced today that they have expanded their printing capabilities with the installation of a new HP Indigo 3050 press. The new press is a six color, liquid ink offset quality, digital press. The HP 3050 is the first of its kind to be installed in California, giving Progressive Solutions a jump on the advancements being made in the printing business. "The printing industry like most industries today is moving more heavily towards digital technology," said Mark Sarpa, President of Progressive Solutions. "Companies today need faster turnaround and flexibility in the production of materials. With the new 3050 press, we will be able to offer our customers not only faster turnaround on current projects but the ability to produce new types of projects that were not possible with traditional printing," Sarpa added. The new HP 3050 press is the newest innovation in digital printing. For the first time, customers can get the quality of offset printing with the flexibility and speed of digital printing. With the 3050, Progressive Solutions will be able to triple its output of digital printing. This press is an ideal solution for any customer that wants to do short-run four to six color projects, materials that require variable data or to reduce their collateral inventory management by utilizing a print-on-demand system.
