INTERQUEST Announces Speakers & Panelists for 2014 London Digital Book Printing Forum

Industry Leaders from Printers, Publishers, & Suppliers to Participate in Fifth Annual Event
Charlottesville, VA and London, U.K. - INTERQUEST, a leading market and technology research and consulting firm serving the digital printing and publishing industry, today announced a stellar lineup of speakers and panelists for the 2014 London Digital Printing Forum, which will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the Royal Society, Carlton Terrace, in London. Held each year in London since 2010, the full-day educational forum will focus on key trends in the book market, the evolution of book manufacturing and the supply chain, and the use of digital printing to produce books.

The program will commence with a presentation by Mr. Biscos updating the latest trends and developments in the book market. A panel of book industry leaders will then share their thoughts on the future outlook for the market. Speakers include: Jonathan Huddart, Head of Sales, Books and Journals, CPI Books; Amelia Douglas, Production Director, Pan Macmillan; and Karina Luke, Executive Director, Book Industry Communication Ltd.
Following the presentation of key findings from recent INTERQUEST research into the book market, a panel of publishers and printers will discuss their initiatives and experiences in streamlining the book supply chain. Speakers include: Kate McFarlan, Strategic Director, Clays; Arjen Jansen, Production Director, Collins Learning; and Nick Ross, Production Director, Little, Brown Book Group. Attendees will then hear from leading print systems vendors on their companies' strategies and developments in the market. After lunch the program will resume with additional INTERQUEST research findings, presented by Toby Cobrin, Director, INTERQUEST. Andy Cork, Managing Director, PrintonDemand Worldwide, and Terry Compton, Production Manager, Troubador Publishing Ltd. will then discuss trends in the use of on-demand and short-run book production. A panel of professionals will discuss trends and issues in the areas of finishing and substrates. Following a mid-afternoon break, printers and publishers will address the use of colour in digital book printing, as well as new and emerging opportunities and applications.
