Grapho Metronic strengthens its management

Press release from the issuing company

There will be an even closer partnership between manroland web systems and grapho metronic in the future. Manuel Kosok (34), former Head of Production Management & Project Engineering Automation at manroland web systems now joins the grapho metronic management since June 1, 2014. Together with Peter Rakitsch, he now is in charge of the successful company.

grapho metronic has been established more than 40 years ago and since then aims to be a system partner of the printing industry that makes a contribution to automation and stabilization of the offset printing process. Since 1992, grapho metronic and manroland web systems bundle their activities.

The grapho metronic product range includes color control systems, ultra-rapid densitometric inline control systems and register control systems for web offset and sheetfed printing. Ink density-, color- and cut-off register control are part of the standard equipment for web offset presses today. Components, such as color- and cut off register as well as other inline control systems, are integrated into the overall press concept. The combination of different modules from one source guarantees an ideal performance.

“manroland web systems with its subcompany grapho metronic is the only full-service provider for retrofits. Our customers can access a broad hardware retrofit, the new mobile operating concept and inline control systems from the automation kit. What always comes first is cost-effectiveness for the customer. Many of our features show a ROI of less than one year“, Manuel Kosok points out. “Furthermore we constantly develop our product range. For spring 2015, we plan to roll-out the proven Inline Density Control for newspaper printing as well as the additional spectral measuring for the ink density control system for commercial presses.”
