Sinapse Print skills contest for Latin America

The SHOTS Copa Latina 2014 Contest is open to all printers and print schools in Latin America.

There are already 20 teams from 5 countries participating.  They are all using trial version of the Sinapse Sheetfed simulator SHOTS to solve problems in printing and quality control. 

This contest – aimed to promote graphic arts training with modern technology (print simulators) is sponsored by a wide group of associations and industrials.  These include :

Sun Chemical, E-Tech Simulation, Printing Industries of America, Agudi, Abigraf, ABTG.

The second round is currently taking place and already the teams have used hundreds of hours of simulation for familiarization and problem solving.

Participating teams include 8 SENAI schools and InfoGlobo in Brazil, 3 SENA schools and Panamericana in Colombia,  Grafica Biblos in Peru, Cetis 16 school in Mexico.

DON’T MISS THE LIVE FINALS AT EXPOPRINT

The two finalists will be competing live on the SENAI stand Hall G, Stand 92G at Expoprint, with the finals currently scheduled for July 18th at 4pm.  Even if you can’t be at the finals, please stop by the booth and take a turn at “flying the press simulator”.
