TAPPI Offers New E-Books from the Finnish Paper Engineers Association

A comprehensive series of technical reference e-books by the Finnish Paper Engineers Association are now available to TAPPI members through the bookstore. During the month of August exclusive access to the 20-volume series will be available for the first time to students attending TAPPI’s Introduction to Kraft Pulping and Bleaching Course. Students attending the course will use Book 6 on Recovery, Chemicals and Energy as part of the curriculum.

“A partnership between TAPPI and the Finnish Paper Engineers Association provides attendees of the Kraft Pulping and Bleaching course exclusive access to one the most comprehensive technical reference textbooks available covering the pulp and paper industry,” notes Larry N. The newly updated 20-volume Papermaking Science and Technology book series from the Finnish Paper Engineers Association covers pulping and papermaking technology from the woodyard to the finished product. This comprehensive series on pulp and papermaking is now available and includes an electronic e-book version. The series includes volumes covering: Economics of the Pulp and Paper Industry, Forest Products Resources, Papermaking Chemistry, Mechanical Pulp, Chemical Pulping, Recycled Fibre and Deinking, Pigment Coating and Surface Sizing, Converting, Process and Maintenance Management, Materials, Corrosion Prevention and Maintenance, Paper Physics, Papermaking (3 Volumes), Pulp and Paper Testing, Environmental Management and Control, and Biorefining. The TAPPI Kraft Pulping and Bleaching Course will be held August 11-12, 2014 in Metro Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
