Scodix Awarded Gold at 17th Annual VMA’s

Press release from the issuing company

At last weekend’s VMA’s, the members of the Visual Media Alliance presented digital enhancement solutions leader Scodix with the coveted Gold Award for outstanding achievement. The Showcase Awards is an annual visual media competition covering Northern California and Northern Nevada hosted by VMA in San Francisco. Competing against nearly 200 entries from printing, design, ad agencies and graphic art firms, Scodix received the Gold Award in the

category of Book Covers. The winning submission was a digitally enhanced cover of the VMA Members Guide, an annual publication of the non-profit trade associations.

Our team did a great job identifying key design elements that showcased the impact of Scodix digital enhancement to produce a VMA cover that not only stands out, but captures the attention of multiple senses. Members couldn’t help but take notice,” notes Dennis Kercher, North American Sales Manager, Western Region, Scodix. “It’s always an honor to be acknowledged by your peers for your work, and the Scodix team is graciously thankful to all the members of the VMA for this recognition.”

Dan Nelson, President of Visual Media Alliance agrees, “This was a great competition with a very impressive standard of entries. Scodix should be very proud of their company’s achievement and the excellent work done by their employees.”

The Showcase Awards recognizes those responsible for the creation and production of visual communications in Northern California and Northern Nevada. The competition promotes excellence in visual communications and rewards companies and individuals who produce the best in visual media. This year’s awards ceremony was conducted June 6th at the Waterfront Hotel in Oakland, California.
