Satori Software announced today that Sr. Director of Postal Affairs Bob Schimek will co-present the educational session “Knowing the Score – USPS Scorecard and Quality Reports,” at the 2014 Association of Marketing Service Providers Annual Conference in Milwaukee June 9 – 12.

Schimek and co-presenters, Tom Glassman, manager of postal affairs at Wilen Direct, and Arlene Zisow, business mailer support analyst at USPS®, will host the session on Tuesday, June 10 at 10:00 AM.

“In my 24 years with the mailing industry, the one constant is change. Of the steady flow coming from USPS, top of the list should be preparing now to avoid crossing the error threshold on mailings,” commented Schimek. “One of my key responsibilities that I enjoy at Satori Software is making sure customers understand postal industry changes. The session will cover why mailers need to review and fix errors before USPS starts assessing penalties, which will likely occur in January 2015. The ability to read and interpret the USPS reports and Mail.dat® files will allow mailers to understand potential mistakes and arm them with the knowledge to dispute these new penalties.
