Press release from the issuing company

Today, accolades were presented to the winners of the EDP Awards at FESPA Digital. Agfa Graphics’ Asanti workflow solution for Sign & Display, the Jeti Titan HS wide-format printer, and the Altamira LM Pack inks were recognized for their excellence.

The European Digital Press Association grants the EDP Awards to the best products of the year introduced in the European market. It reviews quality, but also aspects such as value to the user, support and service etc.

Agfa Graphics is proud to have been rewarded with this quality and innovation mark for no less than three products:

  • Asanti Best workflow management solution
Asanti is a complete and affordable automatic Sign & Display production hub, including PDF creation and preflighting. Asanti features Adobe APPE 3.0 RIP technology, resulting in a reliable and predictable output on a wide range of Agfa Graphics' and non-Agfa Graphics' printers, Asanti integrates with Asanti Storefront web-to-print and connects to cutting and finishing equipment.  Its built-in color management is unique and easy to use. It guarantees consistent color quality with minimal effort.
  • Jeti Titan HS Best flatbed/hybrid printer (over 200,000 euro)
The Jeti Titan HS true flatbed six-color UV-inkjet printer combines exceptional print quality and high speed for an unbeatable price/performance. The robust build quality engine incorporates the latest generation Ricoh Gen 5 print heads and comes with double white as standard and with primer or varnish (optional). The 3.2m (126") wide Jeti Titan HS has a 'flat-to-roll' option to print flexible media as well as rigid substrates.
  • Altamira Pack LM Best environment ink technology
The Altamira low-migration (LM) UV-curable inkjet inks were designed for printing directly on primary food packaging and on labels, blister foils, lids etc. for food and pharma packaging applications. These low-migration inks are based on specific chemical formulations, compliant with legislations, and able to deliver food-safe solutions. They can be customized for specific foods and packaging materials
