Trojanlabel Launching Affordable Digital Press During Summer - The TrojanTwo

Press release from the issuing company

Copenhagen - Trojanlabel entered the full colour label market with the introduction of the TrojanOne in March 2013. The system was targeted end-user but in fact also sold to label converters who needed the digital flexibility. “We witnessed a very strong pull from small to medium sized label converters based on the TrojanOne due to affordable pricing; however our product was designed for the manufactures and brand owners in order to run their label production in-house. The product was not designed for heavier volumes and thus we were reluctant to sell it to label converters and printing houses. However this is completely changing with the introduction of the TrojanTwo” states Mikkel Wichmann, CEO for Trojanlabel and continues “During the last few months we have seen a strong expansion of materials developed for Memjet technology and the introduction of the TrojanTwo could not come at a better timing. We are witnessing an overwhelmingly degree of interest for the TrojanTwo and the future looks prosperous for Trojanlabel and our global partners” he ends.

The TrojanTwo is the first serious attempt to offer the market an affordable mini digital press, which has the characteristics of the larger and more expensive systems. The press will run with 18 m/min and up to 1600 x 1600 dpi and with sophisticated algorithms and a self-maintaining system, it will be able to run larger volumes and maintain high print quality. The system will simply self-predict when maintenance are needed and with manual cleaning station accessing the printhead without cutting the web, the TrojanTwo will be the most sophisticated affordable Memjet based product in the market designed for the converters. We expect the system to sell at 35.000,00 USD for a complete installed unit, and will be released during the summer.
