Riding high on the success of the Sign & Digital UK event held last month at the Birmingham NEC, the Colorific team is incredibly positive about next week’s FESPA Digital event in Munich.

“There was a real industry buzz at last month’s show - not just from customers but also our fellow exhibitors,” says Nick Wintle, Managing Director of Colorific Solutions.  “Judging by our order book and the demand for the Lightbar technology, we’re really eager for the doors to open at FESPA. Whilst being based in the UK, almost 70% of our business is international – and FESPA Digital gives us the chance to meeting existing and potential customers from across the globe.”

Nick continues, “In an effort to make the understanding of the Lightbar technology more accessible, we have launched a series of data sheets in multiple languages.  Normally we include as much technical information as possible in this type of document.  However, we’ve decided to keep it as simple and factual as possible.  Currently available in German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish and Chinese, we intend to add a few more language versions to the list prior to the show opening. Whilst being downloadable from our web site, we will also be printing copies off on our Lightbar UV640PC printer at the show, which is based on the Roland VSi640.”

Backing up Nick’s comments about the state of the Industry, Shaun Holdom, Business Development Director at Colorific, adds, “Having attended Reklama360 in Poznan this week, the positive vibe from Sign & Digital UK seems to have spread to the show in Poland.  Along with our Polish distributor, Fastcom, we were demonstrating the UV640 print solution and subsequently taking orders on-stand.  Customers were particularly impressed with the direct-to-application advantages offered by the UV Light inks - a key benefit of the Lightbar system.”

“Look at what has happened to the Superwide market! For over a decade you could only get solvent printers and now every manufacture opts for UV. The cycle is repeating itself with the wide format sector demanding a more advance technology with our UV Light ink, UV-Solvent Hybrid.
