PrintUI Web-to-Print Service Announces Entry into Brand Resource Management Space

Press release from the issuing company

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - Award-winning PrintUI today announced its entry into the brand resource management space. With growing market share, having recently announced their 50th customer and international reach, PrintUI will showcase their Software as a Service (SaaS) Adobe® InDesign® Editing Solutions at DAM NY May 1 - 2, 2014 Booth #2 in New York City. While at DAM NY, PrintUI will also debut their new Partner Program for integrators, resellers and ISVs. PrintUI is founded by former Adobe and print industry executives and is used by graphic and branding professionals worldwide for the centralization and customization of marketing materials including brochures, signage and ads.

“DAM NY is the perfect venue to showcase our entry into the brand resource management arena as well as highlight our new Partner Program,” said Mark Hilton, founder and CEO of PrintUI. “Currently PrintUI works with resellers, integrators, translation services and stock photo services and we are excited to add more partners. Through the PrintUI Partner Program, integrators, resellers and ISVs can now develop a seamless way to fully integrate their digital asset management solutions into PrintUI’s highly scalable and secure web-hosted solution for a managed web-to-print and web-to-web workflow.”

About PrintUI’s Partner Program

PrintUI’s Partner Program will enable cloud-based integration with a hosted design application and collateral management portal to create web-to-print materials providing convenience, design flexibility, and control over brand image.

For example, PrintUI’s newly announced partner WebDAM recently launched Dynamic Templates, allowing marketing teams to instantly upload and edit marketing materials such as presentations, catalogs, brochures, business cards, datasheets, ads and more. Using PrintUI’s secure web-hosted solution marketers and brand managers can now specify how assets are customized to maintain complete brand consistency.

“At WebDAM, our foremost goal is to provide best in breed cloud technology to enterprise marketing teams. This is why we chose to partner with PrintUI,” said Steve Rabkin, CTO of WebDAM. “By offering PrintUI’s web to print capabilities, WebDAM users benefit from powerful InDesign technology within a seamless user experience."

How it works

PrintUI uses a highly scalable and secure web-hosted (SaaS) solution for a managed web-to-print workflow. It uses a full Adobe online InDesign workflow for template creation and management. This is coupled with PrintUI’s online InDesign-based server as the composition engine for generating a wide range of branded materials.

An authorized brand designer, using Adobe InDesign with a PrintUI plugin, easily creates templates. Once uploaded, authorized marketing consumers and sales personnel create customized versions of each piece, using an online editing and preview environment. Brand-critical elements are safely locked in position, as are font and color choices and available images. Users may easily create what they need, and submit each piece for approval, without risking the company’s visual brand identity. PrintUI easily integrates with Digital Asset Management (DAM) and other essential business systems.
