Graphic Resource Releases Genesis Digital Web Press

Wednesday, April 30, 2014

Press release from the issuing company

Graphic Resource Inc. has just released our newest offering, the Genesis Digital Web printing press. Made in America, the Genesis was designed to incorporate one of the finest inkjet print technologies, the MEMJET? Aspen, a page-wide color inkjet print engine. The Aspen provides game changing true 1600 x 1375 DPI resolution.  One Printhead. 70,400 jets. 700 million drops of ink

The Genesis is designed for VIRTUALLY everyone. While it is made to run at slower speeds, it allows printers to print short runs jobs on a separate press line. This will enable shops to send longer run, lesser quality-demanded print jobs to existing digital presses in your shop; thus maximizing production environments.

Genesis will save THOUSANDS of dollars in short run publication work. It can offer sizes up to 11" x 25.5" trifold  11"  x 17" or 22" x 17" folded in line and ready to drop in boxes or we can even run two press in tandem to finish 16 page glued signatures. For the short run publication business, this product offers the highest reproductive quality with complete finishing at a super low investment.

When compared to offset press lines, the cost savings are even more astounding. Imagine eliminating printing plates and all their related costs.  Companies can eliminate  expensive downtime costs relating to long make-readies, production and installation of printing plates, high paper wastage, and wasted operator costs.

A comparison of other digital press manufacturers confirms that the Genesis offers significantly less capital investment-nearly half in most cases, dramatically less expensive printhead costs, and there are no click charges or hidden maintenance fees. Add that to the fact that not one of the other system offers the ability to produce true 1600 x 1375 DPI while completely finishing the product inline; and it is easy to see why the Genesis will become the press of choice.

Genesis is available in 5 different models to accommodate your specific needs with simplex or duplex printing AND the optional ability to twin presses and merge into one finishing line {including a unique inline Mail Sorter}.

Only Genesis offers complete inline finishing including:

  • Folding
  • Die Cutting
  • Labeling
  • Gluing
  • Batch stacking
  • Mail Sorting
  • Twinned Web and Merging
