Roland to bring a little Magic to Sign & Digital UK

Press release from the issuing company

Roland DG UK will be bringing a little magic to next week’s Sign & Digital UK 2014 event in the form of James Anthony.  The renowned magician, illusionist and hypnotist, who has appeared on the popular TV show ‘Take Me Out’, will be showcasing his skills and capturing people’s imagination on the Roland stand (G30) throughout the 3 day event.

James Anthony also runs www.magicworld.co.uk – a long-standing UK-based online magic shop selling a plethora of magicians’ tools for beginners through to advanced professionals – and has recently launched a new company,www.printbymagic.com.  The www.printbymagic.com ecommerce business offers printing services to magicians for both traditional print requirements alongside the creation of various magical applications and – as if by magic – it’s a Roland DG solution that’s enabled the company to do so.

James Anthony uses his Roland VersaUV LEF-20 desktop printer to transform plain objects into quirky and original items that can be used by magicians.  He explains, “I bought the Roland LEF-20 last month in order to expand my magic offerings.  I use the machine to customise and print various magic effects on all types of objects – from plastic to wood, and cards to phone and iPad covers.  If a company is looking for a specific trick to be manufactured or cards to be printed to a particular specification, then we are now able to provide this service.”

Roland DG’s Head of Marketing, Gillian Montanaro adds, “As our strapline states: ‘Some call it magic. We call it Roland’s superior VersaUV technology’.  We’re delighted that James Anthony will joining us on our stand at Sign & Digital UK 2014 and warmly invite visitors to come and see what he’s got up his sleeve at any point during the show!”
