Ricoh to Showcase Signage Solutions at the 2014 ISA International Sign Expo

Press release from the issuing company

Ricoh Americas Corporation today announced its lineup of new offerings and solutions to be showcased at the 2014 ISA International Sign Expo, April 24-26 in Orlando, Florida. For attendees who want to produce personalized, creative, high-exposure signage and marketing campaigns, Ricoh’s latest wide-format offerings and marketing campaign management tools are up to the task and will be on display at booth #479.  Demonstrations will include seven-color printing that enables printers to differentiate from competitors with a wider color gamut and white ink that opens up new media and application possibilities.  Ricoh’s experts will also be on hand to show attendees how they can overcome their print challenges and expand their businesses by taking on new types of work.

As companies in the sign industry seek to grow their businesses, they also need to keep up with marketing trends that are influencing their customers’ expectations.  These shifting trends require comprehensive solutions that combine printing and marketing campaign management, and give companies a competitive advantage by allowing them to offer customers personalized, creative, and high-exposure marketing campaigns.  Visitors to Ricoh’s booth will experience signage demonstrations, both printed and personalized live on the show floor.  The booth’s amusement park setting will provide a backdrop for vibrant and impactful end-to-end campaigns.

Attendees will experience these latest solutions hands-on:

  • RICOH Pro L4160 – is a wide format color printer that allows sign shops to print brilliant signs, banners, wraps, and point of sale displays in vivid color on a wide range of substrates.   Seven color printing – CMYK, orange, green and white aqueous latex inks – offers an increased color gamut, the ability to print on clear substrates and backlit substrates, and produce output that can withstand the elements. Printers can respond quickly to rush orders, and take on new jobs that they previously couldn’t with fast printing speeds and no post-drying curing times – helping to increase their revenues in the process.  The RICOH L4160’s aqueous latex inks are also toxin-free and odorless, eliminating the need for special ventilation equipment.
  • RICOH Pro C5100s – is a full-color cut-sheet digital imaging system for sign printers who value productivity, versatility and outstanding quality at an affordable price and in a compact footprint.  Users can quickly produce high-impact, professional-looking output that can be finished in line, with print and copy speeds of up to 65 ppm and 80 ppm and quick warm-up times.  The RICOH Pro C5100s can also print on a wide variety of media, including heavily textured stock and fabrics.
  • Marketing campaign management – Solutions from Ricoh, including PTI’s MarcomCentral®, help companies quickly launch a web-to-print campaign with personalized images and on-demand delivery functionality for true cross-media campaigns.  This powerful SaaS (software as a service) solution helps companies increase customer engagement and revenues, customize workflows, and expand cross-media capabilities, etc. all without the installation of new servers, software or added development costs.

“Companies that produce signage are trying to keep up with the latest industry trends and want to grow their businesses – and Ricoh can help,” said Tim Vellek, vice president, Production Printing Business Group, Ricoh Americas Corporation.  “Our signage solutions help businesses give their customers what they want: campaigns that make an impact.  And our deep experience in improving the way people work benefits businesses who are striving to maximize their efficiency and productivity as they adapt to new signage applications.”
