Press release from the issuing company

Kevin Abergel, VP of Sales and Marketing for MGI USA, to be on a panel of experts discussing innovations in inkjet UV coating technology

MELBOURNE, FL – MGI Digital Graphic Technology is pleased to announce they will be a member of an expert panel at the Foil and Specialty Effects Association Conference April 27th – 29th at the InterContinental Milwaukee in Milwaukee, WI.

Kevin Abergel, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, will be at the Conference to discuss new inkjet UV coating technologies that are capable of creating specialty UV effects without the set-up and tooling of conventional coating methods. Among other things, MGI will also be discussing the best practices for UV coating to obtain optimal results. The panel discussion will take place Tuesday morning, March 29th at 8:30am at the InterContinental Milwaukee.

In addition, MGI will be showcasing samples from the iFOIL module at the Supplier Trade Fair on Sunday, April 27th from 6:00pm-8:30pm. MGI has launched a fully digital hot foiling and embossing module for use with the JETvarnish 3D digital spot UV coater. Due to its fully digital process the iFOIL makes hot foiling easy – requiring no plates, no dies and no makeready. The iFOIL can use any market-available foils, such as gold, silver, holographic and even spot color foils.
