HP Commemorates One Year Since Commercial Launch of the HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press

The HP Indigo 10000 is the first offset-quality digital press in a B2 size format, and it has been well received among print service providers across the globe since the commercial launch in March 2013.  In fact, today, more than 80 installations of the press are now complete in 24 countries across five continents. 

Commercial customers across the globe continue to increase profitability by adopting multiple HP Indigo 10000 Presses including, Avery Dennison, Wing Hung and, Sandy Alexander – the first print service provider to purchase three HP Indigo 10000 Digital Presses.

Various customers have noted increased production efficiencies and business growth through the expanded digital printing capabilities the HP Indigo 10000 provides, such as personalized, localized and on-demand photo books, web-to-print marketing collateral, direct mail, and even specialty or light folding cartons.

The HP Indigo 10000 is helping customers worldwide grow their business through increased efficiency and a wider range of digital print applications. A majority of these presses are installed at general commercial printers, but some other customers include a sizeable number of packaging, book, and photo printers, as well as direct mail providers.

The HP Indigo 10000 maintains all the capabilities distinct to the HP Indigo portfolio in a wider format that expands the digital printing capabilities, while crossing over into traditionally offset markets. 

With more than 80 installations now complete in 24 countries across five continents, the HP Indigo 10000 is delivering on its promise of helping customers improve the economics of digital printing and produce a broader range of applications to increase their profitability.

85 percent of the customers are existing HP Indigo print providers.

15 percent are new to HP Indigo or entirely new to digital printing.
